Peanuts on Panama City Beach

Cindy Zimmerman2009 Conference, Conference Announcement, Conference Sponsors, News1 Comment

It’s been a tough year for peanuts – time for a little R&R!

Peanut beachDetails have been finalized and registration is now officially underway for the 2009 Southern Peanut Growers Conference July 12-14 at the Edgewater Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida.

You can register on-line here – or you can print out and fax in or mail this pdf registration form.

There will be plenty of time for rest and relaxation on the beautiful Emerald Coast, but the meeting does have its serious side as well. Business sessions will mix Peanuts and Politics, Production Issues and an Industry Update, as well as the Farm Press Peanut Profitability Award & Grower Panel. Check out the entire schedule in pdf form online here.

Sponsorship opportunities
are still available for this 11th annual conference, which includes peanut producers and industry representatives from Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi – as well as most other peanut growing regions of the nation. Join with companies like Syngenta, Bayer CropScience, BASF, Valent, Trimble Agriculture/Ag Technologies, Farm Press, Farm Progress, Peanut Grower, Southeastern Peanut Farmer and more in helping to support this important meeting.

Thanks once again to Trimble Agriculture/Ag Technologies for their sponsorship of this conference blog where we will provide regular updates prior to the conference, as well as photos, audio interviews, video and more during the meeting itself. If you are a first time visitor to the SPGC blog, make sure you go backwards in time by scrolling down and checking out last year’s event coverage, especially the Flickr photo album.

Hope to see you in Panama City Beach July 12-14!
